Jay Lanagan
The Broker and President of Lanagan & Co., Jay is responsible for brokerage operations and consulting strategy.
Jay is known for assembling successful investment and development teams and he holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Massachusetts; and his experience in brokerage, licensing, permitting, development and strategy is diverse. Jay co-founded the SCBA, served on the Buzzard’s Bay Coalition Public Policy Committee and is the Property Committee Chair at the Greater New Bedford Boys and Girls Club. Jay finds balance in cycling, snowboarding with Alice, building Legos with Oscar, and observing the world around him with his family.

Jaana Haag
Since moving to New Bedford Janna has found a passion for the city and it’s people, participating in local events and immersing herself in the areas culture.
She is excited to be a part of such an incredible team and continue helping people find their home in New Bedford. In her free time, she likes to hike with her dog Bruno and explore the world one country at a time. Sean Fitzgerald
Formally a Top Producer in the mortgage industry, Sean has extensive experience in the real estate arena. He has represented hundreds of clients during his 15-plus years as a Mortgage Originator. Sean has a broad history of formulating and providing a wide variety of consumer-based services for a vast range of products for a diverse cultural and economic backgrounds. He has experience in preparing and conducting home buyer seminars, training sessions, quarterly newsletters, meetings, and the like, for customers, realtors, attorneys, appraisers, as well as other professionals. Sean also has served on the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Loan Advisory Committee. He achieved his Bachelor’s Degree from UMASS at Dartmouth in Political Science with a Minor in Sociology. These abilities, coupled with Sean’s education and personal integrity, make him an inestimable asset to our existing staff and entire facility.

Max Cover
Max grew up on the South Coast and knows its beautiful communities and waterways like the back of his hand. An avid surfer, sailor, and hiker, Max spends most days exploring the outdoors with his dog, Chuey.
In his professional life, Max spent six years working as an architectural designer and another four in the field of alternative energy. Later, as a professor and curriculum developer at Bristol Community College, Max enjoyed working with students with diverse backgrounds and needs. While there, he specialized in teaching sustainability in all settings.
Max is committed to working closely with clients in order to efficiently pair them with the best possible fit for their needs.

Darbie Martins
As lifelong resident of New Bedford, Darbie is excited to share her community with prospective buyers both local and new to the south coast. Working in historical downtown New Bedford, she has made many community connections and is passionate about her city and the many local attractions it had to offer.
When she’s not working, or doing projects in her own home, she enjoys camping and fishing with her husband, son, and dog.

Al Coelho
Al Coelho serves as a Senior Sales Associate and Business Development Director for Lanagan & Co., Inc. He leads a high performance sales team of real estate agents and brokers with integrity and respect, all while carefully balancing the interests of clients and colleagues to ensure optimum results for all.
Aside from real estate, Al Coelho is an accomplished Iron Man Triathlete who has also run the Boston Marathon for the past 7 years. To know Al is to understand the idiosyncrasies that justify a triathlete’s unbreakable internal drive. Scratch the surface, you will soon embrace his charitable nature, having raised over $100,000 for Boston Children’s Hospital Miles for Miracles.

Meg Bennett
Growing up in Rochester and the tri-town community inspired her to return to town to make a home and raise her two sons.
As a former Director of Sales in Print & Packaging, her background included sales management, customer satisfaction, pricing and negotiation.
Meg received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts with a focus in Art History. When she’s not working, Meg enjoys the outdoors with her sons, creates pottery and takes advantage of Rochester’s right to farm raising goats and bees.

Ashley McCormick
Ashley McCormack is the managing attorney for McCormack Law PC in New Bedford, and a broker for Lanagan & Co. At Lanagan & Co., Ashley represents both sellers and buyers in commercial and residential real estate transactions. Ashley regularly works alongside broker and president, Jay Lanagan. Ashley holds a bachelors degree from Suffolk University and a law degree from Northeastern School of Law. Ashley is a former prosecutor, and brings her same passion and integrity from the courtroom when representing clients at Lanagan & Co.

Victoria Mariano
Victoria has a passion for the arts and her community. She has a Bachelors in Business Management from Clark University, where she learned the best way she could help her community was socially-minded enterprises. She co-founded and operated her first entertainment related small business while a senior at Clark.
Since then she has co-founded and operated three more entertainment/hospitality related small businesses, a multifamily house, and an airbnb. Throughout her career as a social entrepreneur she has negotiated many commercial real estate contracts, rehabilitated historical commercial and residential properties, and consulted for other companies and municipalities in various concentrations; regarding start-ups, operational management, marketing, event production, and economic development.

John Hawes Ritter
Jon was born in New Bedford and raised in Dartmouth. After graduating in 2011 with his Masters in Real Estate Finance, Jon embarked on a real estate focused career. Competencies and roles have included real estate sales, appraisal, zoning and permitting as well as general contracting and project management for single family residential subdivisions.
Currently Jon is building new construction homes and selling land in his 12 lot Boxberry Woods Subdivision in East Freetown
